After a year of dedicated learning, more than a hundred ZZ2 employees received their Business Administration Certificate (NQF3) at the ZZ2 Learning & Growth Academy in Mooketsi, Limpopo.

Business Administration is an important function within ZZ2 and the qualification will enhance this function in ZZ2’s extensive operations. The year-long course was presented by Training Force.

The recipients were congratulated by ZZ2 stalwart, Ms Lizzy Mantsho, from the Human Resources Department, who herself was part of the class. Lizzy encouraged her classmates to continue their education. She quoted the late Nelson Mandela with the words, “education can change the world”.

ZZ2’s CEO, Mr Tommie van Zyl, also congratulated the recipients. He said that the ZZ2 system enables employees by creating opportunities. “Know-how, skills, knowledge and abilities are imperative for growing business and the South African economy,” he said.

The recently inaugurated ZZ2 Learning & Growth Academy has multi-media functionalities and is set to become a hub of learning in the area. The facility will provide the opportunity for ZZ2 employees to develop and improve their knowledge, skills and competencies in order to reach their full potential and, in this way, contribute to the growth of the ZZ2 system.

Currently, the focus is on facilitating internal training. Our objective is to register the Academy with the Department of Higher Education & Training to enable us to facilitate accredited training courses in the future, said Mr Johan du Plessis, HR Manager.
